The city you haven’t walked through yet.
The harbor-side view of Key West is a completely different city than the one you walk through. Mallory Square seen from the water. Truman Annex with its submarine pens and presidential history. The shrimp boat fleet at the Lands End docks, still working the same grounds they’ve worked for a century.
The captain narrates — this is one of the few Six Fins charters where he talks as much as he drives. Three hours covers the full circuit with time to slow down and look.
Good for: first-time Key West visitors, history buffs, older guests who want a more relaxed charter, anyone who has walked Duval Street and wants to see what’s behind it.

What people who took this trip say.
“Mac and Captain Dustin were professional, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and the charter was well worth the expense. Highly recommend.”
“We had an AMAZING time with Captain Dustin — the whole experience was seamless, from the prep call to the lilypad on the boat. 100% will do this again.”
Before you book.
Is this a narrated tour?
Yes. The captain explains what you’re seeing — the history, the buildings, what’s still operating vs. what was. This is one of the few charters where he talks as much as he drives.
Good for kids?
Yes, very. Calm water, interesting sights, not a physical charter. Kids who like boats and history do well on this one.
Is this the same as a sunset cruise?
No — the sunset cruise positions west for the light show; the harbor cruise goes north and east into the working harbor. Different routes, different experience.
Can we combine with sunset?
Yes, the Custom Combo Charter can mix both into a single day on the water.
