There’s nothing else quite like it on the water.
This one-of-a-kind, custom-built tiki boat brings an authentic thatched roof, a central gathering space, and true island atmosphere to the turquoise waters of Key West. At 26 feet long and 11 feet wide with twin 200hp Suzuki engines and a shallow draft, it can cruise the sandbars one afternoon and slip deep into the backcountry the next.
Gather your group of up to 12 under the tiki roof, cue up your playlist on the premium sound system, sound the train horn as you pull away, and settle into observation decks fore and aft for a celebration you won’t find anywhere else. A USCG-licensed captain and mate handle the boat and the route — your group just brings the good vibes.
It’s a favorite for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, anniversaries, and any small-group celebration that wants something more distinctive than a standard charter.
Pick the Ultimate Celebration — a 3-to-6-hour private day of island-hopping to the sandbars and secluded backcountry keys of your choice — or the Sunset Celebration, a 2-hour evening cruise timed to catch the sun going down over the Gulf. Bring your own food, drinks, and decorations; we’ll handle the rest.
Thanks to its shallow draft, the tiki boat reaches quiet backcountry water the bigger boats can’t — mangrove-lined channels, tidal flats, and hidden coves, with anchor-downs at spots like Boca Grande and the Snipes Keys. Along the way you might spot dolphins, sea turtles, rays, nurse sharks, tarpon, manatees, and shorebirds.

How the Day Runs
A flexible tiki day, built around your group.
The crew running your celebration.
USCG-licensed captain & mate
Your captain and mate handle the boat, the route, and the anchor from start to finish — reading the wind and tide to find the best sandbar, backcountry run, or sunset spot for your group. You focus on the celebration; they focus on the water.
What guests say after a tiki day.
“Booked the tiki boat for my birthday and it was unlike anything else we’ve done in Key West. The thatched roof and the train horn made it feel like its own little party. The captain found us a beautiful spot to anchor.”
“We did the sunset run for our anniversary and it was perfect timing, golden light the whole way back. Small group, big vibes. Would book again in a heartbeat.”
Everything about the tiki boat.
How many people fit on the tiki boat?
The tiki boat carries up to 12 guests plus crew. The custom 26-foot deck is built around a central gathering space beneath an authentic thatched tiki roof, with observation decks fore and aft.
That smaller, more intimate capacity means more room per guest, more attention from your captain, and a more personal day on the water. For larger groups of up to 36, the party boat is the better fit.
What is the tiki boat like?
It is a one-of-a-kind, custom-built 26-foot by 11-foot eco-party vessel powered by twin 200hp engines — wide, stable, and built for a smooth ride even in a little chop.
An authentic thatched tiki roof shades a central gathering space, with fore and aft observation decks, a premium Bluetooth sound system, a traditional train horn, and a shallow draft that opens up backcountry water the bigger boats can’t reach.
What trip options are there — how long is a charter?
There are two signature experiences. The Ultimate Celebration is a 3-to-6-hour private day of island-hopping — sandbars, backcountry, and the destinations of your choice. The Sunset Celebration is a 2-hour evening cruise timed to catch the sun going down over the Gulf of Mexico.
Both are 100% private and fully customizable, and include a dedicated captain and crew, your choice of destinations, and the freedom to bring your own food, drinks, and decorations.
What can we do on a tiki boat charter?
Tiki charters are built for three things: sandbar hangs at spots like Boca Grande and the Snipes Keys, backcountry eco cruising through mangrove channels and tidal flats, and unforgettable sunset celebrations.
Anchor up and crank the sound system, slip into skinny water the big boats miss, or drift into a quiet cove — the captain shapes the day around the wind, tide, and what your group wants to do.
What wildlife might we see?
Because the tiki boat rides low and reaches the untouched backcountry, wildlife viewing is one of the best parts of the trip. Its open layout gives you unobstructed views from every angle.
Depending on the season, tide, and conditions, you might spot bottlenose dolphins riding the wake, sea turtles, manatees, rays and nurse sharks cruising below, tarpon rolling at the surface, and incredible birdlife along the mangroves.
What is the sunset cruise like?
The Sunset Celebration is a 2-hour evening cruise where the open layout and premium sound system turn the deck into a floating lounge as the sky goes orange, pink, and gold over the Gulf.
Bring your favorite drinks, cue up a playlist, and let your captain find the perfect viewing spot for the night.
Is the tiki boat good for a party or celebration?
Yes. The tiki boat is a favorite for birthdays, bachelorette and bachelor parties, anniversaries, corporate team outings, family reunions, and any small-group celebration that wants something more intimate and distinctive than a large party boat.
For bigger groups of up to 36, the party boat is the better fit.
Can we bring our own food, drinks, and decorations?
Yes. The tiki boat is BYO — bring your own food, drinks, and decorations to make the day yours, whether it’s a birthday, a bachelorette party, or a milestone celebration.
Cans and plastic are better than glass on deck, and the captain remains responsible for vessel safety.
Who runs the boat, and is it safe?
Every charter includes a dedicated USCG-licensed captain and crew who handle navigation, anchoring, and route planning. The wide, stable custom hull gives a smooth ride even in chop, and the captain knows where to go based on the season, tide, and conditions.
How far in advance should we book?
The tiki boat books fast, especially during Key West’s peak season. Because it’s one-of-a-kind and seats only 12, prime dates and sunset slots go quickly — so reach out early to lock in your preferred time and experience.
What happens if weather is unsafe?
If conditions are determined to be unsafe, guests may be rescheduled or refunded according to the applicable booking policy.
If the charter can run safely but one route is not ideal, the captain may adjust the plan for the day. The goal is a safe, memorable celebration — not forcing the boat into bad water.
