For Key West Cruise Passengers

The 2-hour jet ski tour your shore excursion doesn't offer.

Skip the 25-ski conga line. We run small-group tours from two Stock Island launches — and on wind days when the pier operators cancel, we usually don't.

Why cruise passengers choose Six Fins

Three reasons to skip the pier booth.

Cruise passengers get one shot at a Key West excursion. Here's what makes ours different from the pier operators selling 50 feet from your gangway.

🌊

We run when others don't

Our Hurricane Hole launch is leeward on north and northeast wind days — the exact days pier operators cancel. If your shore excursion got cancelled, call us before you give up.

⏱️

Twice the tour

The only 2-hour guided jet ski tour in Key West. Full island circumnavigation — not a 60-minute loop around the protected harbor.

👥

Small groups, real tours

Maximum 6 skis per departure. No 25-ski conga line. You ride your line, set your pace, and the guide can actually see you.

Booked a shore excursion that got cancelled?

Wind from the north shuts down most Key West operators. Our Hurricane Hole Marina sits on Stock Island's protected south side — and we're usually still on the water. Call before you write off the day.

Getting here from the cruise port

The closest Six Fins jet ski launch to Pier B.

Mallory Square and Pier B are on the west end of Key West. Hurricane Hole Marina is a quick Uber or taxi away on Stock Island — the closest Six Fins launch to the cruise port.

🚢

We'll get you back in time.

Tell us your all-aboard time when you book. We build a 30-minute buffer into every cruise-passenger tour and recommend Uber for the return — the most reliable way back to the gangway.

Two ways to ride

Pick the tour that fits your port window.

Tight on time? Confident rider who wants to open it up? We've got the right format. Both include fuel, USCG-approved PFDs, and a senior guide — and both launch from Hurricane Hole Marina, the closest Six Fins launch to Pier B.

Cruise passenger FAQ

The questions we hear most.

My shore excursion just got cancelled because of wind. Can you still run?
Often, yes. Our Hurricane Hole launch is on Stock Island's protected south side — when north and northeast winds shut down operators launching from Mallory or Garrison Bight, we can usually still run a full tour. Call us directly: (305) 906-2880.
How do we get back to the ship?
Uber and taxi are the most reliable. From either of our marinas, Pier B and Mallory Square are 10–20 minutes away. We help you time the return so you're at the gangway with margin to spare.
How far in advance should we book?
In season (December–April), as far ahead as you can. Off-season and mid-week, same-day bookings are often available — just call. Cruise passengers especially benefit from booking ahead so we can build the timing around your all-aboard window.
What if our ship is delayed getting in?
Call or text us as soon as you know. We'll do our best to reschedule you within your port window — sometimes that means swapping to a later slot, sometimes a shorter tour, depending on what fits your time.
Do you accept walk-ups from the cruise port?
Yes, but we strongly recommend booking ahead — especially for the 2-hour tour, which fills first. A short call from the ship or the pier can save you the trip out to a fully-booked slot.
Can I do this if I've never ridden a jet ski before?
Absolutely. Every tour starts with a pre-departure briefing and the guide rides with the group. Small groups mean the guide can pace to the riders, not the other way around. First-timers often pick the 90-minute Premium tour with the sandbar stop.
What's included?
Fuel, USCG-approved Type III PFDs, all safety equipment, and your senior guide. Just bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, and shoes you don't mind getting wet.
