Four options for the bachelor crew
Most groups pair a jet ski tour with a private boat charter on the same trip. Skis for the adrenaline, charter for the social part.
2-Hour Flagship Tour
$209 / ski
The only 2-hour jet ski tour in Key West — 28-mile lap, sandbar stop, Atlantic side. Up to 6 skis with one Six Fins guide. Six-ski cap means the guide actually flexes for the group.
2-Hour tour →90-Minute Premium
$189 / ski
Shorter ride if you want time for the rest of the day. Boca Chica sandbar stop when conditions allow, Stock Island channels. Same group-of-6 cap.
90-Min details →Private 12-Ski Buyout

Private group →Private Boat Charter

The drinking-allowed half of the bachelor weekend. USCG-licensed captain drives. Up to 6 (8 on request). Sandbars, snorkel reefs, tiki bars by water.

Two days on the water, one operator
Day one: jet ski day. The group meets at Perry Hotel & Marina or Hurricane Hole, splits across 6 to 12 skis (up to 3 riders per ski covers a 36-person group), and runs the 2-Hour Flagship Tour with a guide. 28 miles around Key West — sandbar stop, the southernmost-point photo, the Atlantic side. No alcohol on the skis (Florida law and Six Fins policy) but the group can grab lunch and drinks at the Perry dock bar afterward — and Perry departures include a free hotel day pass with pool and gym access.
Day two: boat charter day. The group books a private charter on the 30-foot Jeanneau NC 895 with a USCG-licensed captain. Captain drives, group drinks, you hop sandbars and snorkel reefs and tiki bars by water. Custom itinerary — sequence the day however the bachelor wants. Add an excursion partner yacht (luxury catamarans) for groups over 8.
One operator, one set of waivers, one local crew across both days. No coordination across three different vendors.
Frequently asked
Bachelor party logistics
How many jet skis can a bachelor party book?
Standard Six Fins guided tours are capped at 6 customer skis plus the guide. That smaller cap is intentional: the guide can actually manage the group, watch riders, and keep the tour moving safely.
For private buyouts or larger bachelor-party logistics, call Six Fins before booking. The team can recommend the right tour time, guide setup, boat pairing, or alternative plan.
Can we book the whole jet ski tour for our group only?
Yes, private group planning may be available. Call Six Fins with your date, number of riders, number of skis, and preferred tour length so the team can confirm what is possible.
Do not assume every public departure can become a private bachelor-party buyout. Larger or private groups need planning, staffing, and schedule control.
Can we drink before or during the jet ski tour?
No. No alcohol on the jet skis. Drivers must be sober, capable, and able to follow guide instructions.
If drinking is part of the bachelor weekend, pair the jet ski tour with a private boat charter. On the boat leg, a USCG-licensed captain drives while the group relaxes, swims, visits sandbars, or adds tiki stops where appropriate.
Which jet ski tour is best for a bachelor party?
The 2-Hour Flagship Guided Island Tour is best for the group that wants the biggest ride: 28 miles around Key West, depending on route and conditions.
The 90-Minute Premium Guided Tour is better when the schedule is tighter. The 1-Hour Freestyle Ride is best when the group wants a shorter supervised adrenaline session.
Can non-riders join the day?
Yes. Non-riders can join as passengers on a ski if they meet age and safety requirements, or the group can pair the jet ski tour with a private boat charter so non-riders still get a water day.
That jet ski + boat setup is often the best bachelor-party structure: adrenaline first, private boat after.
What are the age and safety rules?
Drivers must be at least 16 with a valid government-issued photo ID. Passengers must be at least 6, and any child rider must ride with an adult 21 or older on the same ski.
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 needs approved boating-safety documentation to drive. Drivers who need it can take the FWC-approved Temporary Boater Safety Course online ahead of time and bring proof — the fee is $9.99.
Can we just rent jet skis and ride wherever we want?
No. Six Fins does not offer unguided jet ski rentals. Bachelor groups ride with a guide or under guide supervision.
That matters in Key West. The water includes channels, shallow flats, sandbars, boat traffic, and route-specific hazards. The guide keeps the group in the right water and may ask riders to stay in line, follow a wake, or slow down through certain areas.
Is this good for a mixed-skill group?
Yes. Six Fins guides can manage first-timers, confident riders, and passengers in the same group as long as everyone follows instructions.
The best move is to be honest when booking. Tell Six Fins how many first-timers, nervous riders, and strong riders are in the group so the team can recommend the right tour.
Should we pair the bachelor jet ski tour with a boat charter?
Yes, for most bachelor weekends. Jet skis handle the adrenaline; the boat handles the social part.
A private boat charter gives the group a USCG-licensed captain, room to relax, drinks on board where allowed, sandbar time, music, and a safer way to make the rest of the day feel like a party without putting alcohol on jet skis.
