Private Yacht Charters · Key West

Key West bachelorette boat party — your crew, your day, your Jeanneau.

A private 38-foot Jeanneau sailing yacht. Your playlist on the speakers. Your timing on the schedule. Your bride (or your bachelor) at the center of it all — no strangers, no shared sunset cruise, no rushing back so the next group can board.

Perry departures include complimentary Perry Hotel pool and gym access — an approximately $35 value.

Local crew. Small groups. Private experiences.

A private celebration—not a shared party boat. Your captain, your music, your itinerary, and your group from start to finish.

Why Private

Why private beats the bachelorette booze cruise

A 60-person sunset cruise will get the bride drunk. A private Jeanneau gets her the day she actually told her best friend she wanted. There's a difference.

No strangers

Just your crew on the boat. No bachelor party from Ohio crashing the photos. No couple's-retreat awkward small talk at the rail.

Your music

Bluetooth to the onboard speakers. Bring the bride's playlist, the Pilates-class disco mix, whatever the group is going to remember. Volume is yours.

Your timing

Late start because brunch ran long? Push the departure. Want to be back by 4 to nap before Duval? Done. The day moves at your pace, not a fleet schedule.

Sandbar dance party

Anchor in waist-deep, crystal-clear water at one of Key West's locals-only sandbars. Floats, drinks, music, the bride doing her thing. The whole moment is yours.

A Day on Board

What a bachelorette day looks like

This is the most-booked bachelorette format — the 8-hour charter. Yours flexes around the bride's plan, the weather, and how late brunch ran.

10a

Late morning

Boarding & sail out

Meet your captain at The Perry Hotel & Marina — coolers loaded, playlist queued, bride in the sash. We push off and head for one of Key West's protected sandbars. The captain reads the wind and picks the calmest, prettiest spot for the day.

12p

Midday

Sandbar dance party

Anchor in waist-deep water you can stand in. Float, swim, dance, take the photos that end up in the wedding speech. Bring the inflatable swan, the matching koozies, the whole bit.

2p

Afternoon

Lunch on board

Charcuterie boards the maid of honor prepped that morning. Sandwich platter from Publix. Or pull up to a waterfront spot like Hurricane Hole or The Galleon for a real lunch and re-board.

4p

Late afternoon

Cruise the harbor or hit a tiki bar

Slow cruise past Mallory Square, the cruise port, and the historic seaport. Or pull up by water to one of Key West's tiki bars for a round before heading back. The captain knows the docks.

6p

Sunset

Sunset return — or extend to dinner

Watch the Key West sunset from the bow of your own yacht (it's better than any cruise, full stop). Then back to the dock by 7. Or upgrade to the 10-hour charter, dock for dinner on Duval, and have the captain pick you up by water afterward.

The Boat

A 38-foot Jeanneau, built for the day you're planning

The Jeanneau is the boat we recommend for bachelorette parties more than any other — not because it's the biggest, but because it has the things that actually matter on a celebration day. A private toilet inside a shaded cabin, so the bride (and everyone else) can change in and out of swimwear without an audience. Shade when you want it, sun when you don't. Comfortable seating for the whole group. Bluetooth audio. A swim platform off the stern.

  • Private head & changing room inside shaded cabin
  • Bluetooth speakers — your playlist, your volume
  • Stable, comfortable Jeanneau hull (no pontoon roll)
  • Swim platform & ladder for sandbar access
  • Coolers & ice on board — bring your own drinks
  • USCG-licensed captain stays sober and handles the boat

Group Size

6 standard. 7 or 8 as a bareboat add-on. Bigger groups — we have options.

The Jeanneau is licensed and comfortable for up to 6 guests with a captain and fuel included — that's the standard bachelorette setup and how most parties book it. A 7th guest adds $150 and an 8th adds $300 under a bareboat structure: the Charterer (21+) hires and pays the captain separately at $65/charter-hour and fuel runs $35/charter-hour through FareHarbor, on top of the base rate. We'll walk you through it when you book.

Bigger than 8? We also run a 30-foot pontoon and have partner yachts up to 60 feet for parties of 10, 12, and beyond. Tell us your headcount and we'll match the boat.

Same boat, same setup — bachelor parties welcome

Bachelor parties book the exact same charter at the exact same price — just with a different playlist and usually a heavier emphasis on fishing stops, the sandbar, and tiki-bar pull-ups. The Jeanneau handles both crowds the same way: private, flexible, no strangers, your day. Tell us what your crew wants on the day and the captain builds the route around it.

Pricing

Flat-rate, all-in charter pricing. No per-person surprises.

Bachelorette FAQs

The questions every maid of honor asks first

Planning a Key West bachelorette is enough work. These should cover the rest.

How many people can come?

Six guests is the standard maximum on the private 38-foot Jeanneau sailing yacht. That setup gives your group comfortable seating, shaded cabin space, a private head, and room to move without feeling crowded.

If your crew has 7 or 8 guests, Six Fins can extend the charter under a bareboat structure: 7th guest +$150, 8th guest +$300, with the Charterer (21+) hiring the captain separately at $65/charter-hour plus fuel at $35/charter-hour. Larger groups of 10, 12, or more may be better matched to the 30-foot pontoon or a partner yacht.

Why choose a private bachelorette boat instead of a booze cruise?

A booze cruise sells seats. A Six Fins private bachelorette charter gives your crew the boat, the playlist, the timing, the sandbar plan, and the photos without strangers on board.

That means no public rail, no fixed party soundtrack, no awkward shared deck, and no waiting for a crowd to move before the bride gets her moment.

Can we bring our own music?

Yes. Bluetooth connects to the onboard speakers, and your group controls the playlist. Bring the bride's playlist, the hype mix, the throwbacks, or whatever the weekend is supposed to sound like.

Private means your music, your timing, and your vibe — not a shared sunset-cruise loop.

Can we drink on the boat?

Yes. Guests may bring beer, wine, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks. Coolers and ice are on board.

The captain stays sober and handles the boat. Your group should keep glass to a minimum, drink water, and remember that the Key West sun makes a long boat day feel even longer.

Do you do bachelor parties too?

Yes. Bachelor parties book the same private Jeanneau charter at the same pricing. The difference is usually the playlist, the pace, and the emphasis: fishing stops, sandbar time, tiki-bar pull-ups, harbor cruising, or a more relaxed private day.

Tell Six Fins what the group wants, and the captain will shape the route around the day.

Is there a bathroom on the boat?

Yes. The Jeanneau has a private marine toilet, also called a head, inside the shaded cabin. It can also work as a changing space when guests need privacy.

That bathroom-and-changing-room combination is one of the main reasons bachelorette groups choose the Jeanneau instead of a fully open deck boat.

Can we add food, catering, or a restaurant stop?

Yes. Most groups bring their own food: charcuterie, sandwiches, snacks, fruit, or whatever the maid of honor has organized. Six Fins can also help coordinate catered drop-off or a waterfront restaurant stop when the schedule allows.

If the group wants sandbar time, lunch, sunset, tiki-bar stops, and multiple activities, book the longer 8-hour or 10-hour format instead of trying to squeeze everything into a shorter day.

Which bachelorette charter is most popular?

The 8-hour private charter is the most booked bachelorette format because it gives the group enough time for sandbar, lunch, music, photos, and a sunset-style return without rushing.

The 6-hour charter works well for a half-day pace. The 10-hour charter is best when you want to add dinner pickup, a longer cruise, or a full day-to-night experience.

What does the bachelorette charter cost?

The 6-hour private charter is $1,395. The 8-hour private charter is $1,595 and is the most booked option. The 10-hour private charter is $1,895.

Pricing is for the whole boat, not per person. Captain, fuel, ice, coolers, and the private Jeanneau setup are included. Gratuity is not included.

Where do we depart from?

Bachelorette and bachelor party charters depart from The Perry Hotel & Marina, Dock A, Slip #32, at 7001 Shrimp Rd in Key West / Stock Island.

Plan to arrive about 20 minutes early to load coolers, settle in, connect the playlist, and get the group ready before departure.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund is available for cancellations made at least seven days before the charter. Cancellations inside seven days are non-refundable, except when Six Fins cancels for unsafe weather or another operator-side issue, which gets a full refund. If the captain cancels because conditions are unsafe, guests receive a full refund or may reschedule.

Six Fins does not run the boat when the captain decides conditions are unsafe.
