Private Group Buyouts · Up to 12 Skis
Six Fins runs full private group buyouts for up to 12 skis — the whole tour, your whole group, your whole day. Wedding parties, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, corporate retreats, family reunions, and cruise-ship groups.
Private jet-ski tours departing from Perry include complimentary Perry Hotel pool and gym access — an approximately $35 value.
Built for groups that want the whole experience
A Six Fins private group buyout means the entire tour is yours. No mixed groups. No strangers in your photos.
No other riders. No mixed groups. No strangers in your photos. Just your people on the water.
So the group actually rides together — not strung out in a half-mile line behind one guide with a radio.
Built around your group's experience level and what you want out of the day. Sandbar, sunset, photos, the works.
From Perry Hotel & Marina or Hurricane Hole — whichever fits your group and the day's conditions best.
Perfect For
Each of these comes with its own quirks and we handle them all. Tell us which one you are when you inquire.
Key West is the bachelor/ette capital of Florida for a reason. A private jet ski tour is the highest-energy way to spend a morning or afternoon of the weekend — and a lot more memorable than another bar crawl.
Day-before or day-after the wedding, get the whole party on the water together. We coordinate launch timing around your schedule and work with your planner directly.
Team-building that people actually want to do. From small executive groups to full sales-team incentive trips. Custom routes, photo/video packages, and planner coordination available.
Multi-generational groups, big birthdays, anniversaries — anything where you want the whole family on the water at the same time, riding together, not split across three tours.
Traveling with a group on a cruise? Book a private buyout from the port. We build the timing around your all-aboard window so the whole group gets back to the ship together with margin.
Photo shoots, brand activations, content days. We've coordinated multi-ski runs for production crews — get in touch with the details.

Group FAQ
A private group buyout reserves the jet ski experience for your group instead of mixing you with other riders. It is designed for bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding groups, corporate retreats, incentive trips, cruise groups, family reunions, photo shoots, and special events.
The value is control: your group, your timing, your route plan, your photo stops, and no strangers in the middle of the day.
Private group buyouts are designed for larger groups than a standard six-ski departure. The page's current package structure includes group buyout tiers for 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12 skis.
For safety and route control, larger groups require proper staffing, guide planning, and launch coordination. Six Fins will quote the group based on number of skis, date, duration, route, and conditions.
No. Six Fins does not offer unguided jet ski rentals or unsupervised group rentals. Group buyouts are guided or guide-supervised for safety, route control, and responsible operation in Key West waters. If your group already owns jet skis, see Bring Your Own Jet Ski + Hire a Guide instead.
That matters even more with large groups. Key West water includes boat traffic, channels, shallow flats, sandbars, tides, and hazards just below the surface. Our guides keep the group organized and may ask riders to follow a specific line or remain safely in the guide's wake through certain areas.
Group buyouts are strongest for bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding weekends, corporate incentive trips, cruise groups, family reunions, milestone birthdays, planner-led events, and production days.
If your group wants a private, organized, high-energy activity that still feels premium and controlled, a jet ski buyout is a better fit than trying to place everyone into separate public departures.
Group buyouts use flat-rate package pricing based on number of skis, duration, date, and route. Current package tiers on this page include 7–8 skis, 9–10 skis, and 11–12 skis.
Fuel, safety equipment, PFDs, and guide support are included. Photo/video, extra time, custom route needs, planner coordination, and special requests may be quoted separately.
For weekends, holidays, December–April, and major Key West events, larger groups should book as early as possible. Four to eight weeks ahead is a good planning window for groups of 6 or more.
Same-week and same-day requests can still be worth a call, especially mid-week or off-season. A quick inquiry gives Six Fins enough information to confirm guide availability and quote the right package.
Any driver born on or after January 1, 1988 needs approved boating-safety education documentation to operate a jet ski in Florida. For groups, the fastest path is usually to have every required driver complete the temporary course before arrival. Drivers who need it can take the FWC-approved Temporary Boater Safety Course online ahead of time and bring proof — the fee is $9.99.
Drivers must be at least 16 with valid government-issued photo ID. Passengers must be at least 6, and any child rider must ride with an adult 21 or older on the same ski.
Sometimes. Six Fins also operates private boat charters, and some groups may be able to combine jet skis with a boat option for non-riders, depending on date, vessel availability, route, and conditions.
Ask about this when you request the quote. It is especially useful for corporate groups, wedding parties, and family groups where not everyone wants to ride.
If Six Fins determines conditions are unsafe, the group may be rescheduled or refunded according to the applicable booking policy and quote terms. With group buyouts, the team may also recommend a different launch, time, or route when that gives the group a safer and better ride.
Six Fins will not run a large group in conditions the guide team would not ride themselves.
