Two years from the date of issue. We make the validity generous on purpose — gift recipients often book a Key West trip several months out, and we don't want a 90-day window forcing rushed planning.
Can the recipient book before they know their Key West dates?
Yes. The certificate is buy-now, schedule-later. The recipient calls or emails Six Fins when they have their travel dates locked in, and we apply the certificate to a specific reservation. No need to book a date at gift purchase.
Digital or physical certificate — which is better?
Depends on the occasion. Digital is a branded PDF emailed to you (or directly to the recipient) within 24 hours of order — best for last-minute gifts and long-distance giving. Are Six Fins gift certificates refundable?
Gift certificates are non-refundable once issued, but transferable — if the original recipient can't use it, they can pass it to anyone. Unused certificates within the 2-year validity window can also be applied to a different Six Fins experience (a freestyle ride certificate can become a boat charter credit, for example).
What’s included in every Six Fins experience?
Every Six Fins jet ski tour and boat charter includes a complimentary Perry Hotel & Marina day pass — pool, marina, on-property restaurants, and access to The Perry's shuttle between the hotel, Higgs Beach, and the A&B Marina downtown.
On the ride itself: fuel, FWC-permitted lead guide on guided departures (USCG-licensed captain on boat charters), and Type III life vests for every guest. Florida sales tax and gratuity are the only items added at checkout.
