Free Perry Hotel Day Pass — included with this tour.
The 90-Minute Premium departs from Perry Hotel & Marina, and Perry departures include complimentary Perry Hotel pool and gym access — an approximately $35 value. Come early or stay late and make a resort day of it. Subject to the hotel’s rules, hours, and availability.
The 90-minute premium jet ski tour: long enough for a real adventure, short enough for a half-day plan.
The 90-minute Premium Tour is the middle option — a backcountry ride toward Boca Chica Sandbar, with a swim stop when conditions allow, and the ride back. It’s the tour for groups who want the sandbar experience without committing to the full 2-hour lap.
The ride out takes about 25 minutes through the backcountry channel. The sandbar stop is 15–20 minutes — long enough to get in the water and catch your breath. The ride back is the best part, with some open-water stretch on the return route.
Departs from Perry Hotel Marina only. Max 6 skis per tour. Same Yamaha WaveRunners and FWC-permitted guides as all Six Fins tours.

What is the 90-Minute Premium Jet Ski Tour?
The 90-Minute Premium Guided Island Tour is Six Fins' Perry-based jet ski ride to Boca Chica Sandbar and back. It combines a guided backcountry ride, time to get in the water at the sandbar, and a return ride with enough pace to feel like a real Key West adventure.
It is the middle option between the quick 1-Hour Freestyle Ride and the full 2-Hour Flagship Island Tour.
Can I just rent a jet ski and go out on my own?
No. Six Fins does not offer unguided jet ski rentals. All Six Fins jet ski experiences are guided or guide-supervised for safety, route control, and responsible operation in Key West waters.
Key West is not a simple open lake. Local water conditions change with tides, wind, boat traffic, shallow flats, channels, sandbars, and hazards that may sit just below the surface. Our local guides know where boats and yachts typically run, where riders are most likely to beach or damage a ski, and which routes are safest for the day's conditions. For safety, your guide may ask you to stay in the guide's wake or follow a specific line through certain areas.
If you want the closest option to riding on your own, book the 1-Hour Freestyle Jet Ski Ride. It is still guide-supervised, but the guide leads you to approved free-ride areas where you can enjoy more independent riding under supervision.
Who is the 90-minute tour best for?
The 90-minute tour is best for guests who want a guided Key West ride with a sandbar stop but do not want to commit to the full 2-hour island loop. It works well for couples, families, first-time riders, and groups planning the rest of a half-day around The Perry Hotel & Marina.
If you want the most complete Six Fins jet ski experience, choose the 2-hour tour. If you want quick open-water riding with no sandbar stop, choose the 1-hour freestyle ride.
What is the difference between the 90-minute tour and the 2-hour tour?
The 2-hour tour is designed as a 28-mile full Key West island loop and is the longest jet ski tour offered in Key West and the Lower Keys. The 90-minute tour is a shorter, more focused ride from The Perry Hotel & Marina to Boca Chica Sandbar and back.
Choose the 90-minute tour for a sandbar swim and a strong guided ride in less time. Choose the 2-hour tour if you want the full island-lap experience with more route variety.
Does the 90-minute tour include a sandbar stop?
Yes. The 90-Minute Premium Tour includes a Boca Chica Sandbar stop when conditions allow. Guests can step off the skis into shallow water, cool off, hydrate, and enjoy the backcountry setting before riding back.
The guide makes the final call based on tide, wind, marine traffic, and safety.
How much does the 90-minute tour cost?
The 90-Minute Premium Guided Island Tour is $189 per ski. The price is per ski, not per person, and one Yamaha WaveRunner VX may carry up to three riders subject to the 530-lb total weight limit, rider comfort, sea conditions, and guide approval.
Taxes, gratuity, optional protection products, and third-party booking fees may be separate depending on how you book.
Where does the 90-minute tour launch?
The 90-Minute Premium Tour launches from The Perry Hotel & Marina in Stock Island / Key West. Your booking confirmation will include the exact dock location, arrival time, waiver instructions, and check-in details.
This launch works especially well for guests who want a polished marina setting, easy parking, and a Boca Chica Sandbar ride.
Is the 90-minute tour beginner-friendly?
Yes. The 90-minute tour is beginner-friendly because it is guided, small-group, and long enough for riders to get comfortable without committing to the full island loop. The guide starts with a safety briefing, eases the group out through no-wake areas, and adjusts the ride to the conditions.
It is a good first Six Fins tour for guests who want both riding and a sandbar stop.
Can kids ride on the 90-minute tour?
Yes. Passengers must be at least 6 years old, and any child rider must ride with an adult 21 or older on the same ski. Six Fins requires drivers to be at least 16 years old with a valid government-issued photo ID.
The 90-minute length works well for many families because it includes both riding and a break at the sandbar. For younger children, bring a properly fitted USCG-approved Type III life jacket if you have one.
Do I need a boating safety card?
Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need approved boating-safety education documentation to operate a jet ski in Florida. You may complete an approved temporary course before arrival or arrive early and complete it at the dock when available. Drivers who need it can take the FWC-approved Temporary Boater Safety Course online ahead of time and bring proof — the fee is $9.99.
Six Fins also requires drivers to be at least 16, show valid photo ID, complete the safety briefing, and follow guide instructions.
What should I bring for the 90-minute tour?
Bring a valid photo ID, the credit card used for booking, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a towel. Bring boating-safety documentation if you completed the course before arrival.
You will get wet at the sandbar stop, so dress for the water. Leave valuables at the dock when possible.
What happens if the sandbar or weather conditions are not safe?
If Six Fins determines conditions are unsafe, guests may be rescheduled or refunded according to the applicable booking policy. If the tour can run safely but the exact sandbar stop needs to be adjusted, the guide may modify the route.
The guide's job is to choose the safest and best ride for that day's conditions.
What is the cancellation policy?
Direct bookings require 48-hour notice for cancellation. Bookings made within 48 hours, cancellations inside 48 hours, late arrivals, and no-shows are non-refundable.
Reservation Refund Protection, when purchased, may allow an eligible refund or transfer up to one hour before departure. Third-party bookings may follow the policy shown on that platform.
